Drug name: Finoptin#ProductAnalogues##ProductIngridients#Therapeutic actions: Verapamil belongs to a group of cardiovascular preparations called calcium channels blockers. By blocking calcium channels Verapamil lowers the amount of calcium ions inside the cells of the blood vessels and tissue. Peripheral resistance and cardiac work are reduced. As a result, verapamil exerts anti-hypertensive, antianginal, vasodilating, negative ino- and chronotropic action. Verapamil also reduces AV-conductibility, extends refracterity phase and suppresses automatism of the sinus node.
