Flemoclav Solutab
Drug name: Flemoclav #ProductAnalogues##ProductIngridients#Therapeutic actions: Amoxicillin belongs to a group of medications called penicillin antibiotics. Amoxicillin interferes with the ability of bacteria to produce cell walls. Bacterial cell walls protect cells from entering the foreign substances inside the cells and stop the contents of cells from leaking out. Amoxicillin inhibits transpeptidase, disturbing the synthesis of peptidoglycane that is essential component in bacterial cell walls. As a result, bacteria is not able to protect themselves and then die. Clavulanic acid protects Amoxicillin from beta-lactamase action. Beta-lactamase are enzymes that are produced by some strains of the bacteria and work by deactivating the molecule's antibacterial properties. Clavulanic acid inhibits the activity of II, III, IV and V types of beta-lactamase. Clavulanic acid is not effective type1 beta-lactamase that is produced by Enterobacter spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Serratia spp., Acinetobacter spp. Indications: Flemoclav is used to treat the infectious diseases caused by susceptible to amoxicillin bacteria: Upper resporatory tract infections(bronchitis, pneumonia, empyema, lung abscess) ENT infections(sinusitis, tonsillitis, ottitis media Infections of the bile passages(cholangitis, cholecystitis) Intestinal infections(dysenteria, salmonella) Urogenital infections and infections of the small pelvis organs (cystitis, pyelonephritis, pyelitis, urethritis, prostatitis, cervicitis, salpingitis, adnexitis, tubo-ovarian abscess, endomethritis, bacterial vaginitis, septic abortion, postpartum fever, pelvic inflammation, soft chancre, gonorrhea) Infections of the skin and soft tissue: erysipelas, impetigo, secondary dermatosis, abscess, flegmona, wound infections) Osteomyelitis, endocarditis, meningitis, sepsis Peritonitis and post surgical infectionsContraindications and cautions: You should not use Flemoclav in the following conditions: Increased sensitivity to Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid or other beta-lactam antibioticsInfectious mononucleosis Flemoclav should be used with caution in pregnancy, breastfeeding, severe liver failure, digestive system diseases, chronic kidney failure. Drug name: Egilok#productAnalogues##ProductIngridients#Therapeutic actions: Metoprolol belongs to a group of medications called selective b-blockers. By blocking b1-adrenoreceptors, Metoprolol prevents the stimulating effects caused by catecholamines(adrenaline and noradrenaline). As a result, Metoprolol reduces heart rate, contractility of the heart tissue and normalizes conductibility and excitability. Metoprolol exerts anti hypertensive, antianginal and arrhythmical action. Indications: Metoprolol can be indicated to treat the following cardiovascular diseases: Stenocardia(Angina pectoris) Prevention of heart attack (myocardial infarction) Hypertension(high blood pressure) Abnormal heart beats (arrhythmias)In some cases Metoprolol can be prescribed to prevent migraines and thyrotoxicosis. Contraindications and cautions: Metoprolol is contraindicated in the following conditions: Hypersensitivity or allergy to any beta-blockers Sick sinus syndrome or Sinus node dysfunction(disorders in control of the cardiac work) Stenocardia that can not be controlled by medicines(unstable angina) Angiospatic angina A problem common in the elderly, related to poor control of the working of the heart (sick sinus syndrome) Peripheral arterial occlusion manifested in blockage of arteries in the extremities Heart block(atrioventricular blockage 2nd and 3rd degree) Cardiogenic shock and heart failure Metabolic acidosis or increased blood acid levels Low blood pressure Phaeochromocytoma(tumor of the adrenal gland) Slow heart rate called bradycardia (less than 50heart beats per minute) Pregnancy and breastfeedingYou should talk with your health care provider prior to taking Metoprolol in: Irregular muscle weakness called myasthenia gravis Diabetes Elderly age History of asthma or wheezing Kidney disorders Liver disorders PsoriasisDo not suddenly stop taking Metoprolol unless your health care provider tells you otherwise. Regularly check blood sugar levels in patients with diabetesMetoprol reduces the production of lacrimal fluid, therefore should be used with caution in people who wear contact lenses. Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Egilok will experience it or any other. Cardiovascular system: slow heart beat, hear failure CNS: sleep disorders, fatigue, dizziness, headache, Digestive system: diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain Allergic reactions: skin rash, skin itching, hives, psoriasis complication, bronchospasm Hematopoietic system: trombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis The side effects listed above may not include all of the side effects reported by the drug's manufacturer. For more information about any other possible risks associated with Egilok, please read the information provided with Egilok or consult your doctor or pharmacist. Metoprolol increases the risk of slow heart rate, low blood pressure and heart failure when is taken together with calcium channel blockers such as verapamil. Simultaneous use of Metoprolol with MAO inhibitors enhances the hypotensive effect. Metoprolol should not be used within 14 days after the last application of any MAO inhibitors. Preparations for inhalation anesthesia increase the risk of inhibition the contractility of the heart tissue. Egilok should not be used in combination with Secale cornutum alkaloids, alcohol, hypoglycemic medications. Anti hypertension medications enhances the effects of Metoptolol. In simultaneous use of Metoprolol and verapamil, diltiazem, amiodarone, reserpine, clonidine, methyldopa, heart rate fall and suppression of AV-conductibility can be observed. Egilok enhances the effects of depolarizing muscle relaxant. Barbiturates and rifampicin increase the elimination of Metoprolol from the body. When lidocaine is taken together with metoprolol the blood level of lidocaine may be increased.
